Question: How do I use my wallpaper border? Answer:
Wallpaper borders are not pre pasted. Each roll is 10m and the width varies by design. Width is either 17cm or 26cm. See enclosed instructions.
Wallpaper Border Hanging Instruction
Surface: The surface should be dry and clean. Stains should be washed off. Surfaces showing traces of mould growth should be treated with an antifungicide wash.
Preparation: Note the pattern repeat. Always unroll in one direction when cutting lengths.
Pasting: Use a good quality heavy-duty adhesive, mixed to the manufacturer's instruction. Apply a generous and even coat of paste and allow each length to soak for 10 minutes. While over soaking is to be avoided, sufficient soaking time should be allowed for the paper to become supple otherwise bubbling may occur.
Hanging: A felt covered roller is better than a brush for smoothing. Remove surplus paste with a damp sponge or cloth while it is still moist. No paste should be allowed to come into contact with the printed surface of the border and hands should be kept clean and dry at all times. Avoid excessive heat or draughts during drying time. Hanging costs cannot be reimbursed.
